Wausau, WI - State Park Speedway announces that the Eve of Devestation has been moved from August 19th to Thursday, September 2nd. “With the fire a lot of our stuff got burned,” says Owner Ron Wimmer, “We wanted to make sure we take enough time to make this event successful for the drivers and fans, so moving it back seems like the best option.”
All the events will stay the same and include 2nd over the line, tire races, train races, tag races, forward and backwards races, 2 man cruisers, a grand gauntlet race, aluminum boat races, bus races, and a burn out contest!
“We’re very excited to add this event to our schedule,” says Owner Scott Wimmer, “They’re a huge hit with the fans and it’s a good change of pace from our Thursday racing.”
The event is open to any and all participants. So please, get our your old junkers and bring them out to State Park Speedway September 2nd! Drivers who are interested should email stateparkspeedway@yahoo.com to receive a full rules package. They will also be availbe on the website shortly, we are working to finalize them.
State Park Speedway will begin accepting registrations right away! A registration form an be found right HERE . Drivers are allowed to participate in up to 4 events during the course of the evening. Registration will also be open the day of the race from 3pm-6pm. Pit gates will open at 3pm and pit entrance will be $25. All events will pay out the top three places and it will be $50 for first, $30 for second, and $25 for third.
