Wausau, WI - In celebration of the 30th annual Miller Lite Larry Detjens Memorial 105 presented by RaceTeamGear.com and the Brickner Family Auto Group, legends return to State Park Speedway.  A top the list is short track legend Dick Trickle, who was a frequent racer at State Park Speedway and a dear friend of the late Larry Detjens.

Along with Trickle, a number of local racing legends and previous Detjens Memorial race winners return to State Park Speedway this Thursday night.  Dave Marcis, who had a lengthy NASCAR career, will be on hand as well as Tom Reffner, Scott Wimmer, Bryan Reffner, Kevin Stepan, Wayne Breitenfeldt, Donnie Woller, Joe Krzykowski, and Allen Check.

The drivers will all be on hand for an autograph session open to fans from 6:30 - 7:15.

Previous Detjens Memorial winner, including Chris Wimmer, Mark Mackeys, Chris Weinkauf, Kirby Kurth, Jesse Haase, Eugene Gregorich Jr, and Andrew Morrissey will all compete in the Miller Lite Larry Detjens Memorial 105 presented by RaceTeamGear.com and the Brickner Family Auto Group this Thursday.

Joining this cast for the 105-lap super late model feature will also be a number of ASA Midwest Tour stars, including Nathan Haseleu and Jeff Storm among others!

The super stocks of the Central Wisconsin Super Stock Association will also be back to State Park Speedway Thursday, July 29th!  When they were here for the Flip Merwin Memorial last month Mike Gwidt and Lyle Nowak battled sibe by side for the win for the final 15 laps!

Fans can enjoy great $25 deals in honor of Detjens’ #25.  This Thursday $25 buys you two adult and two kids race tickets or two adult tickets and two drink and hot dog tickets.

We strongly encourage fans to take advantage of the numerous park and ride opportunities as this Thursday will be a busy night at State Park Speedway!  The information in on the home page of the website and also under the fan info section.
