Wausau, WI – State Park Speedway is pleased to announce a few different park and ride options for fans! Because of the high car volume, both the Howard Johnson hotel in Rib Mountain and the Town of Rib Mountain Town Hall, across from the Rib Mountain Golf Course.
The Howard Johnson offers a great park and ride program with the option to skip the line at the racetrack and pre-purchase your race ticket! For $15 fans get a ticket to the race, a domestic beer or rail drink in Charlie’s Sports Bar, a speedway shot (you keep the shot glass!), and the shuttle service to and from State Park Speedway. If that’s not enough, you can also get $59 rooms and fill up your beer bucket for $9.
There will also be a free shuttle service that runs from the Town of Rib Mountain Town Hall, across from the Rib Mountain golf course. State Park Speedway is going to try and sell pre-purchased tickets at this location as well, but it is not a sure thing.
Both shuttle services will run from 5:30 to midnight. We strongly encourage fans to take advantage of these opportunities to pre-purchase tickets and be dropped off right at the front gate!
