Wausau, WI May 12th, 2010 – Besides the benefits of being ties in with the American Speed Association, bring an ASA Member Track offer exceptional insurance for drivers and crew members. As State Park Speedway, all drivers and crew members will have the option to become ASA Members. ASA Members are provided with $500,000 of insurance coverage at any ASA Member Track or any ASA sanctioned event. Besides coverage at the track, an ASA Membership also provides coverage to and from the racetrack. “ASA is the only company I know of that provides this kind of coverage, “says Scott Wimmer, “The ASA Member coverage is fantastic and they are the only company that covers you to and from the racetrack.”
ASA Memberships are $125 for drivers and owners of premiere divisions and $90 for all other divisions and crew members. ASA Membership will not be required at State Park Speedway this season, unless you are under the age of 16. State Park Speedway requires all 14 and 15 year olds who wish to race to become ASA Members. While membership is not required for anyone else, State Park Speedway encourages drivers and crew members to take a look at the exceptional coverage offered by ASA.
For minors who wish to race, you must fill out a minor release form and, if your guardian will not be present, you must have your minor release notarized. The minor release form can be downloaded on the website, however it MUST be printed in color or it is not valid. Membership and Minor Release forms will all be available this Sunday at practice and at every race.
