Welcome to the 39th season of racing at State Park
Speedway. The work continues at the speedway
this year, the third year of
ownership by Todd Handrick. That includes the track's
Website. We are currently in the process of building this new site, so we
ask for your patience as we continue our work.
While we are making some changes, racing continues
again this season with Late Models, Street Stocks, Mini-Mods and
Mini-Stocks racing on a weekly basis.
This season also features a number of special events, including
the 6th Annual Flip Merwin Memorial Race, 26th annual Wausau Noon Optimist Youth Night, as well as a July 3rd Fire
Cracker 50 with fireworks after the races.
So come out and support local racing while enjoying a fun time for the
entire family at State Park Speedway!
Directions to State Park Speedway:
The racetrack is located a little more than two miles off of
Interstate 39, also known as state highway 51, just off exit 190. If you are
coming from the north, you will turn right at the end of the exit; if you are coming from the south, turn left at the end of the exit. From the exit,
just follow Cty Rd. NN 2 1/4 miles west, into the Town of Rib Mountain. The
track will be on the left side of the road, about one mile after the Granite
Peak Ski Hill and Rib Mountain Golf Course areas.
