2008 State Park Speedway General Tire Statement

Mini Stocks – Any S or T Rated Non Directional DOT Approved Tire No

                       Wider Than 60 Series – No Tire Softener Allowed – All Other

                       Tire Relevant Rules Also Apply Per 2008 Mini Stock Rules.

Mini Mods – Hoosier 790 Tires Only – No Tire Softener Allowed – Eligible

                      To Purchase 6 Tires at Start of Season – Tires Will Be

                      Branded – Track Will Supervise Tires Based On Wear and

                      Determine Eligibility to Purchase Replacement Tires. May   

                      also run same tire rule as Mini Stocks but tires are not allowed

                      to Durometer softer than Hoosier 790.

Street Stocks – Goodyear G24 8” Treaded Tires Only – 2862 Left Side &

                         2863 Right Side A300 Compound Only – Eligible to

                         Purchase 6 Tires at Start of Season – Tires Will Be Branded

–       No Tire Softener Allowed – May Also Use Old  A300

                        Compound Tires – Track Will Monitor Tire Wear

                        And Determine Eligibility to Purchase Replacement Tires.

Late Models – Hoosier 3035 Left Side & 3045 Right Side Tires Only.

                        Eligible to Purchase 6 Tires at Start of Season. Tires Will Be

                        Branded. No Tire Softener Allowed. Eligibility Based on

                        Completing At Least ½ of the Previous Weeks Features. Each

                        Driver Will Be Allowed To Purchase One New Tire after

                        Completing Two Features. Each Driver Will Be Allowed to

                        Stockpile Up To Two Tires.

Note

State Park Speedway Reserves The Right To Modify Tire Rules At Any Point Throughout The Season. Each Division Will Have A Set Durometer Rule Determined By An Average. Any Tires Found To Be Illegal Will Be Confiscated By State Park Speedway and Points & Money Will Be Forfeited For The Said Event.
