STATE PARK SPEEDWAY ADDS ENDURO EVENT TO KICK OFF SEASON
200-lap enduro event, racecars on display and driver media day
Wausau, WI – State Park Speedway announces a FREE event on Saturday, April 27th! After reaching an agreement with the Impact Survival Series (ISS) State Park Speedway kicks off the season with a 200-lap enduro event on Saturday, April 27th and will close out the 2013 campaign with another enduro event on Saturday, October 26th.
“We are happy to host this event and are excited to hold an enduro to start off the year,” says State Park Speedway Owner Ron Wimmer, “Enduro races are exciting and a lot of fun to watch and we look forward to having a lot of local drivers compete.”
The 200-lap enduro features an on-track pit stop at the halfway point and the winner will take home $600! Drivers must pre-register for the event and can find the registration information here. Any driver who competes in the Jefferson enduro race on April 13th and turns a car around for the State Park Speedway event will not be subject to a registration fee! The October event will be the $5,000 to win format.

Along with the enduo race, State Park Speedway will have other events at the track on Saturday, April 27th. There will be racecars on display for fans to look at and get their picture taken in and many drivers who will be racing full time at State Park Speedway during the 2013 season will be on hand for autographs and a track media day from 12pm-1pm.
