STATE PARK SPEEDWAY TO RUN INAUGURAL TRAILER RACE AT
2017 EVE OF DEVASTATION
GUARANTEED $1,000 TO WIN WITH 20 CAR FIELD
For the first time ever, State Park Speedway will be adding trailer races to its Eve of Devastation. The inaugural event will pay $1,000 to the winner if 20 or more trailers are registered. If fewer than 20 trailers enter the trailer race, a pro-rated purse will be paid appropriately. The winner will be determined as the last car with the trailer attached and wheels on the trailer. Cars used to pull the trailer must meet the Eve of Devastation rules. The registration fee for the trailer race is $25 if you register by September 1st, 2017 and $50 if you register after.
“A lot of tracks in Wisconsin have been running trailer races during their eve events for many years,” said State Park Speedway Owner Ron Wimmer. “I’ve been to a few of the shows that included them and it really is something fun for the drivers and the fans. It will bring a whole new dimension to the Eve of Devastation and we are looking forward to making this a yearly event.”
Pit gates will open at 12:00pm on Sunday, September 10th for the Eve of Devastation and racing will begin at 3:00pm.
